The USPS is loosing between 7 and 8 billion dollars each year and is at risk of default on a five and a half billion dollar payment to retiree health benefits. A number of proposals in Washington take different approaches to solve the problem. Will the Post Office survive this current crisis? Will it take a government bailout to do it?
