In this episode we’ll explore electronic signatures with Roger Kay, a columnist for Forbes.com and a respected commentator for NPR, MSNBC and USA Today, among others. The notion of the “paperless office” may not be that far away, but in the real world transacting business often requires a physical signature on a document. Loan applications, lease agreements, intake forms…these are just a few examples of documents that require a signature and, at least until recently, required that they take form on paper. Roger will discuss how eSignature technology is accelerating the pace of business while helping to eliminate the last bastion of paper in many businesses today. In the second half of the show we are joined by Chris Spear from Extra Space Storage, a national self-storage operator that has recently adopted electronic signatures. Chris will discuss what it has been like actually implementing eSignatures across their nearly 900 locations across the country.
